EZLN anuncia campamento civil de paz en La Realidad

En un comunicado firmado por el Subcomandante Insurgente Moisés el EZLN (Ejercito Zapatista de Liberación Nacional) anuncia que habrá una nueva edición del primer grado de La Escuelita de la Libertad -todavía sin fecha- y del segundo grado «para los que aprobaron que son unos cuantos los que pasaron o sea que pueden avanzar, porque no todos cumplieron cabal de lo que se comprometieron como alumnos», comenta.

También anuncian que se realizará un Campamento Civil de Paz en La Realidad, donde Galeano fue asesinado el pasado 2 de Mayo, coordinado por el Centro de Derechos Humanos FRAYBA al que, dicen, serán bienvenidos los que «pueden ser testigos y observadores y escuchas, ya que la situación no está solucionada. Porque los asesinos siguen libres y la fuerza que tienen y los impulsa a hacer cualquier cosa es el alcohol, además de que algunos de ellos tienen antecedentes de consumir drogas».

El Subcomandante Insurgente Moisés subraya que el campamento es de gran importancia pues «los compañeros y compañeras bases de apoyo zapatistas tienen que regresar en sus casas, porque no podrán estar todo el tiempo en el caracol, porque tienen que trabajar para poder sostenerse de la familia».

El primer campamento civil por la paz tendrá lugar el próximo 4 de junio y los que quieran participar deberán coordinarse con el Centro de Derechos Humanos Fray Bartolomé de Las Casas.

También avisan que van a retomar el encuentro con los pueblos indígenas de México y el CNI (Congreso Nacional Indígena) programado en un primer momento para finales de este mes de mayo pero que tuvo que ser suspendido por el asesinato al base de apoyo zapatista, Galeano. Tampoco hay una fecha concreta para el evento todavía.

En este comunicado invitan también a los que puedan conseguir material para la construcción de la escuela y la clínica que fueron destruidas durante el ataque paramilitar del pasado 2 de mayo, «como ya saben, los paramilitares al servicio de los malos gobiernos los destruyeron la escuela y la clínica que tenían las bases de apoyo zapatistas. Y así como desenterramos al compa Galeano, -a partir del Homenaje del pasado 24- pues lo tenemos que volver a levantar la escuela y la clínica». Tanto la escuela como la clínica, se construirán en un lugar nuevo, anuncian.

En palabras del Subcomandante Moisés, insisten que «de modo que los malos gobiernos entiendan que no importa cuánto destruyan, nosotros siempre construiremos más. Así pasó cuando el Zedillo destruyó el Aguascalientes en Guadalupe Tepeyac, y entonces se construyeron 5 Aguascalientes por el uno que destruyeron.»

Al final del comunicado se refieren a los medios de paga y afirman que «sí es cierto lo que ya había dicho el ahora finado Supmarcos: ni escucharon, ni entendieron». En este sentido desmienten las acusaciones que se hacen a los medios libres «que los acusan que son de parte de zapatistas y que les pagan por los zapatistas, como si decir la verdad de la realidad de La Realidad fuera un trabajo de paga y no un deber» y atribuyen estas acusaciones al hecho de que no fueron invitados al Homenaje del pasado 24 de Mayo. «Pero lo vemos claro que es su coraje porque los medios de paga se quedaron fuera de la realidad.»

 EZLN Announces Civil Peace Encampment in La Realidad

In a communiqué signed by Subcomandante Insurgente Moisés, the EZLN (Zapatista Army of National Liberation) announced that there will be a new round for the first grade of The Escuelita on Freedom—still without a date—and of the second grade “for those who passed, those who got through or rather who can advance are a few, because not everyone fulfilled just what they committed to as students,” he commented.

They also announced that a Civil Peace Encampment will be realized in La Realidad, where Galeano was murdered last May 2^nd, coordinated by the FRAYBA Human Rights Center to which, they say, those who “can be witnesses and observers and listens, since the situation is not solved. Because the murderers continue free and the force that they have and alcohol is what pushes them to do anything, in addition to the fact that many of them have antecedents of consuming drugs.”

Subcomandante Insurgente Moisés underlined the fact that the encampment is of great importance as “the Zapatista support base compañeros and compañeras have to return to their homes, because they will not be able to be in the Caracol all the time, because they have to work to be able to sustain themselves in the family.”

The first civil encampment for peace will take place next June 4 and those who wish to participate must coordinate with the Fray Bartolomé de Las Casas Human Rights Center.

They also notified that they are going to retake the encounter with the indigenous peoples of Mexico and the CNI (Indigenous National Congress), scheduled at first for the end of this May but which had to be suspended due to the murder of the Zapatista support base, Galeano. There still is not a concrete date for the event.

In the words of Subcomandante Moisés, they insist that “in a way that the evil governments understand that it does not matter how many they destroy, we will always build more. It happened like this when Zedillo destroyed the Aguascalientes in Guadalupe Tepeyac, and so 5 Aguascalientes were built for the one that they destroyed.”

At the end of the communiqué they refer to the paid media and affirm that “what the now deceased Supmarcos had said is true: neither did they listen, nor understand.” In this sense they deny the accusations that are made against the free media, “that they accuse them that they are part of the Zapatistas and they are paid by the Zapatistas, as if saying the truth about the reality of La Realidad were paid work and not a duty,” and they attribute these accusations to the fact that they were not invited to the Homage last May 24^th. “But we see clearly that it is their anger because the paid media remained outside of reality.”
